Permit approved for Re Roof Mount Installation Process

Great news — the City has issued the permit for your solar project. With this step completed, we’re ready to move forward with the installation process.

Here’s what comes next:

1. Coordination with Roofing Company
   Since you are contracted directly with the roofing company, it’s important that they are aware and prepared to move forward. We will reach out to them on our side, but we also ask that you contact them as well to confirm they have your approval to proceed. This ensures everyone is aligned and ready for the installation timeline.
    
2. Scheduling Your Installation
   Once the roofing company has confirmed their part, our team will contact you to finalize the solar installation schedule. Weather and utility timelines can sometimes impact scheduling, but we’ll keep you updated throughout the process.
    
3. Pre-Installation Preparation
    
   • Please keep the driveway and surrounding areas clear for our crew, trucks, and equipment.
      
   • For safety, we recommend keeping pets and children away from the work zone during installation.
      

1. Installation Process
    
   • Roofing Phase: The re-roof portion will be completed first to prepare your home for solar.
      
   • Solar Phase: Once the roof is ready, we’ll install the racking, panels, and electrical components.
      
   • System Check & Cleanup: After installation, we’ll conduct a full quality check and clean up the job site.
      

1. Inspection & Utility Connection
    
   • A city inspector will review the installation to ensure everything meets code.
      
   • After approval, your utility company will complete the interconnection process so your system can be powered on.
      

1. Project Close-Out
   Once the system is live, we’ll provide your warranty documents, monitoring access, and a walkthrough of how to track your solar production.
