About the Founder

Sean is an accomplished Technical Business Development Manager and Project Manager with nearly two decades of experience driving renewable energy adoption across solar, energy storage, and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. With a proven track record in both project origination and execution, he brings a rare combination of strategic business development, deep technical knowledge, and hands-on project management expertise.

Sean’s career began at Sullivan Solar Power, where he was one of the company’s first five employees. Over the course of five years, he helped grow the business from a small startup into a $150 million industry leader, overseeing teams of project developers, building operational systems, and leading both residential and commercial growth. That foundation gave Sean unparalleled knowledge of the residential solar space — from sales and design through permitting, installation, and customer support.

After Sullivan, Sean joined Baker Electric as a Commercial Project Developer, where he managed projects ranging from 300kW to 10MW. He specialized in large-scale system design, proposal development, and commercial project execution, strengthening his expertise in the commercial and industrial sector.

He then advanced to EDF Renewables, one of the largest renewable energy companies in the world, where he served as Manager of Origination and Project Development for solar, storage, and microgrid projects. At EDF, Sean originated and delivered over $37 million in projects across the western U.S., leading teams in project origination, contract negotiation, and development of clean energy portfolios for utilities, Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, and non-profits.

Throughout his career, Sean has led the design, development, and deployment of large-scale clean energy projects for some of the nation’s most respected organizations:

• Sysco Foods – Project developed and managed the implementation of a multi-megawatt solar PV system, reducing operational energy costs and advancing Sysco’s sustainability goals.
   
• Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Research Institute – Sold, financed, and managed an 800kW solar PV system, a 750kW 4-hour battery storage system, and 50 EV charging stations, creating a comprehensive clean energy solution.
   
• Sharp Hospital – Oversaw a portfolio of EV charging and solar carport projects in San Diego and the Bay Area, improving grid resilience and supporting the hospital’s renewable transition.
   
• Sycuan Casino & Resort – Directed the integration of 45 smart EV charging stations, a 250kW 4-hour battery storage system, and solar power, reinforcing the resort’s sustainability commitments.
   

In total, Sean has originated and delivered more than $1.29 billion in residential, commercial, and utility-scale renewable projects, consistently exceeding revenue and performance goals. He has also served as a mentor and industry leader — training teams, lecturing at San Diego State University, and serving on the executive committee of NABCEP and the San Diego Renewable Energy Society.

With certifications from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) and a background in both physiology and business, Sean balances technical expertise with a strong focus on people, performance, and long-term value. Today, through Easy Switch Solar, he helps businesses and property owners adopt renewable energy solutions with confidence, with a special emphasis on EV charging deployment and comprehensive clean energy strategies

From design and permitting to installation and customer care, he built a comprehensive knowledge base that allows him to guide clients confidently whether they are homeowners, businesses, or large institutions.
